Whether you need therapeutic or preventive compression therapy products or services, we can help!

Preventive Compression Therapy

We have the right stockings for you — no matter your lifestyle.

Over the counter (OTC) compression stockings are a great choice for everyday use to help with mild swelling and fatigued legs due to long periods of travel, sitting or standing. The compression level of OTC stockings is 15-20 mmHg. Please note that any compression therapy garment above 30 mmHg requires a prescription from a health professional.

Important!

Make sure to replace your compression stockings every four or six months to maintain the proper shape and compression level.

If they start feeling loose, it’s time for a new pair.

Therapeutic Compression Therapy

How to maintain compression garments.

Follow these recommendations to keep your compression garments in good shape:

  • Hand wash (or machine wash on delicate) in warm water daily to maximize therapeutic effectiveness and prolong the life of your garment.

  • Use a small portion of special compression garment washing detergent or another mild soap.
  • Rinse garment well, roll in a towel to remove excess water, hang to dry.
  • Wash dark colours separately from other clothing.
  • Juzo garments may be machined wash and dry; use the lowest permanent press settings.
  • When using washing machine, a garment bag is strongly recommended.
  • Do not use bleach, chlorine, fabric softeners, or other laundry additives. These may damage your garment.
  • Store your stockings in a dry place at room temperature.
customer man

BC Medequip is going to be my go-to for compression garments from now on.

Fabulous experience! I came here for my father and for myself to get compression stockings and they handled our needs professionally and with great care. We were made to feel as though our concerns would be addressed promptly and at no point did we feel as though we were just being sold a product. BC Medequip really made us feel like they cared. Can’t speak highly enough!
