October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a National campaign to raise awareness and support of breast cancer. This year the World Health Organization declared breast cancer the most diagnosed cancer worldwide.
Donating, fundraising, encouraging regular screening, participating in local fundraisers, simply checking in on a breast cancer patient or survivor and remembering those who fought are a few ways that can help support people in the community affected by breast cancer. "Supporting the fighters, Admiring the survivors, Honouring the taken and never, ever giving up hope."
