BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (BC RAHA)
The BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (BC RAHA) provides up to $20,000 in rebates to eligible low- and moderate-income households in British Columbia to help fund home modifications that improve accessibility and support safe, independent living.

B.C. Rehab Foundation - Individual Grant Programs
The BC Rehab Individual Grant Program provides financial assistance to people with physical disabilities in British Columbia who cannot afford essential equipment, helping improve their independence and quality of life.

Canadian Red Cross British Columbia – Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) – Basic Short Term Loan Program
The Canadian Red Cross BC Health Equipment Loan Program provides short- and long-term loans of basic medical equipment to people recovering from illness or injury, helping them maintain independence and safely remain at home.

Cerebral Palsy Association of BC – Equipment Subsidy Program
The Cerebral Palsy Association of BC Equipment Funding Program provides financial assistance to individuals with cerebral palsy in British Columbia—primarily children—for the purchase of essential assistive devices that support daily living, mobility, and independence.

First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) Health Benefits & Pacific Blue Cross Partnership – Medical Supplies & Equipment
The First Nations Health Authority Medical Supplies and Equipment Benefit provides coverage for a wide range of medically necessary equipment and supplies for eligible First Nations people in BC, helping support their health, independence, and daily living needs with a prescription and approved provider.

Ministry of Health British Columbia – Home and Community Care Services – BC Palliative Care Benefits Program
The Government of British Columbia’s end-of-life care program provides coordinated palliative and supportive services—such as pain management, nursing care, and family support—to help individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life in their final stages, whether at home, hospice, or care facilities.

Ministry of Justice British Columbia – Victim Services and Crime Prevention Division – Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)
The Government of British Columbia’s Crime Victim Assistance Program provides financial support for victims of violent crime, their families, and some witnesses to help cover expenses like medical care, counselling, lost income, and other costs related to their recovery.

Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation British Columbia – British Columbia Employment and Assistance (BCEA) – Medical Equipment and Devices
The Government of British Columbia’s Medical Equipment and Devices supplement provides eligible income or disability assistance recipients with essential medical equipment (like wheelchairs, walkers, and hospital beds) when it is medically necessary, pre-approved, and no other funding options are available.

MS Canada Quality of Life Program
The MS Canada Quality of Life Equipment Program provides up to $1,000 per year in financial assistance to eligible Canadians with MS to help purchase or repair essential equipment and assistive devices that support independence and daily living.

Muscular Dystrophy Canada – Equipment Program Western Canada
The Muscular Dystrophy Canada Equipment Program provides funding to eligible individuals with neuromuscular disorders to access essential assistive devices—such as wheelchairs, lifts, and home accessibility equipment—when other funding sources are not available, supporting independence and daily living.

The Kinsmen Foundation of BC
The Kinsmen Foundation of BC provides financial assistance to adults with physical disabilities in British Columbia to help purchase essential mobility and accessibility equipment that is not covered by other funding sources.

WorkBC Assistive Technology Services
WorkBC Assistive Technology Services provides funding and support for assistive devices, workplace modifications, and related services to help individuals with disabilities or functional limitations overcome barriers and obtain or maintain employment.
