The Slip On Fall Prevention Cover has been designed to help address many safety concerns associated with mattresses and bed frames. In the event that bed rails are required to be removed from a bed frame, therein lies a potential fall hazard.
The Slip On Fall Prevention Cover easily slips on to foam or gel mattresses and features four raised 3” foam wedge perimeters that provide a sensory reminder of the mattress edges. These covers are easily installed and removed allowing the caretaker to position the product under any user that may be at a higher fall risk.
As an added benefit, the Slip On Fall Prevention Cover is constructed using Elasta Tex fabric. This fabric helps to reduce friction and shearing, while also protecting the existing mattress from wear and tear. With quick release secure straps this keeps the mattress secured and centered on the frame, reducing fall risk and entrapment when the rails are in use.
