Online and In-store

Not all products purchased online or in-store are returnable. Most items are a final sale. Please contact us to determine if the item you have purchased can be returned or exchanged. Due to the hygienic nature of select products, Health Canada regulations prohibit any return and resale. Please contact us for more information.
All products purchased online are shipped in original packaging. Assembly may be required.
Return requests must be received within 5 days of receipt of the product.
Exceptions are subject to Manager’s discretion, a restocking fee and store credits may apply. Situations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Items approved for return must be returned unused, unopened and in their original packaging.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
For approved returns, the outgoing freight and any delivery fees are not refundable.
Damages and Defects
Please inspect your product upon pick up or delivery. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or incorrect, please call our customer service line (604-888-8811) or email service@bcmedequip.com within 24 hours of delivery. A defective item is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty; however, we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable
Items The following items are non-returnable:
- All bathroom safety products
- All furniture products, such as beds, lift chairs, mattresses
- Mobility equipment – wheelchairs, walkers, scooters,
- Seating & fabric products such as slings, seatbelts, transfer belts, pillows & wedges
- Custom/special order products – all types, includes lifting devices
- Compression garments
- Incontinence products
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us by phone before 5 pm PT the same day. If your order has already been processed, a restocking fee may be deducted from your refund. In-store pick-up orders will be held until you pick up your order.

Product Warranty
- BC MEDEQUIP honours manufacturers’ warranty periods. Please contact us for more details.
- We assess every warranty claim on a case-by-case basis, as every product has different warranty coverage.
- Batteries are subject to a 3-month warranty.
- Products outside of warranty, all parts/service calls are billed at standard rates.
- Any required maintenance checks are billed at standard rates.
What does this warranty policy not cover?
- Repairs for normal wear and tear
- Flat tires – subject to a service call standard rate
- Damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or negligence
- Damage of a product resulting from unauthorized modification of the product
- Damage caused by natural disaster
- Damage or malfunction caused by failure of maintenance
- Theft or loss of the product
What can you do next?
- We require the following information to investigate your claim’s warranty eligibility:
- Ensure it has been purchased from BC MEDEQUIP
- Model name
- Manufacturer name
- Serial number
- Photos of the defect
2. If you believe your defective item is due to a manufacturing defect, email the above information to service@bcmedequip.com.
3. A member of our customer service team will contact you for next steps:
- This may include bringing in your defective item to our store for evaluation at 265 Schoolhouse St, Coquitlam BC V3K 4Y1
- We are not responsible for any shipping costs to and/or from our location for the defective item.
